Description

We’ve got an array of dog collars in all sizes and colors.
1. Flat Collar
Description:
The most common type of dog collar. Made from nylon, leather, or other materials with a buckle or plastic snap closure. Usually has a D-ring for attaching tags and a leash.
2. Martingale Collar
Description:
Also known as a limited-slip collar, it’s designed for dogs with narrow heads (like Greyhounds). It tightens slightly when the dog pulls, preventing them from slipping out, but doesn’t choke.
3. Choke Chain / Slip Collar
Description:
A metal chain that tightens when the dog pulls. Commonly used in training but can be harmful if misused.
4. Prong Collar / Pinch Collar
Description:
Has metal prongs that apply pressure around the neck when pulled. Used for training strong or stubborn dogs. Controversial and should only be used under professional guidance.
5. Head Collar (e.g., Halti, Gentle Leader)
Description:
Fits around the dog’s muzzle and neck. Controls the head, making it easier to manage pulling. Often used for leash training.
6. GPS Collar
Description:
Equipped with GPS tracking to monitor the dog’s location. Ideal for dogs who roam or for outdoor adventures.
7. Smart Collar
Description:
Includes features like GPS, activity tracking, health monitoring, and even training functions, connected to a smartphone app.
8. Flea & Tick Collar
Description:
Infused with chemicals to repel or kill fleas and ticks. Offers long-term protection (usually up to 8 months).
9. Elizabethan Collar (E-Collar / Cone)
Description:
Not a traditional collar — it’s a protective medical device to prevent dogs from licking or chewing wounds or stitches.
